Mick O’Dwyer accepts the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) award at the ceremony in Tokyo

The Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) is proud to celebrate key companies and individuals for their outstanding contributions to Ireland-Japan business relations. This year on November 22nd, the Conrad Tokyo hosted the Ireland Japan Business Awards 2023. This prestigious recognition honours companies that have achieved significant milestones, launched innovative products, or made other remarkable contributions to strengthening the ties between Ireland and Japan.

The Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organisation that has promoted and supported business relations between Ireland and Japan for over 50 years. The focus has always been to provide a platform for businesses to connect, collaborate, and grow. In addition, IJCC actively advocates for policies that support bilateral trade and investment.

Every year there are different award categories, but the highlight of the evening is always the presentation of the Company of the Year. This year, the prestigious award went to Druid Software, a company that has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering collaboration and expanding trade between two countries. Mick O’Dwyer, Sales & Marketing Director of Druid Software Ltd., accepted the award on behalf of the company and shared a winner’s speech at the podium on receiving the Company of the Year Award.

Liam Kenny, CEO, commented: “It is a great honour for Druid to receive this prestigious award from the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce. We would like to take this opportunity recognise the support and hard work of both our local team at JI Technology and all our Japanese business partners and customers. Go raibh mile maith agat to you all”.
